West Park is a Conferencing Events venue located in the west end of Dundee specialising in Conferences day meetings along with Weddings and other private events. During the summer period the venue also has 204 bedrooms availabe for Bed and Breakfast guests visiting the city of Dundee. We are currently requiring a Banqueting Chef to head up our Kitchen operation with previous experience within higher volume catering along with experience of buffets both hot and cold along with weddings of up to approx 100 covers. Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of menu costings and purchasing efficiency along with kitchen management skils Managing a small team with additional casual support this position offers a positive work life balance on a 5 out of 7 day rota although mostly working Tuesday Saturdays Intermediate food Hygiene qualification would be an advantage and working knowledge of a Haccp system Salary £20K with 28 days holiday Applications should be in writing by e-mail to Gail Riley
