We have also been successful in pioneering our natural product range to the professional turf care sector through our commercial arm The Great Turf Company. With demand for our natural alternatives to chemical fertilisers increasing rapidly we aim to double the number of domestic lawns we are servicing within the next year. The Role As we strive towards further growth of our business we are seeking a Direct Sales Force to work with our franchisees to grow and develop their customer base within Scotland. The role will involve pitching the benefits of our Natural Lawn Care service to homeowners and gardeners. Specific responsibilities may include Door-to-door visits to prospective customers Generating leads and setting appointments for our franchisees Carrying out lawn analysis surveys and submitting quotations Generating customer referrals Contacting former or cancelled customers Visiting current customers neighbours to introduce them to our service Promoting Yearly Lawn Care Programmes to existing and new customers Providing best practice advice on Natural Lawn Care Occasional attendance at exhibitions and events The Candidate You will be employed part-time to canvas specific geographical territories. You will be required to work around 10-20 hours per week mainly in the afternoons and evenings during spring summer and autumn with occasional weekend work. You will have a demonstrable track record in direct sales and excellent communication and relationship building skills. Above all we require individuals with the ability and self motivation to approach home owners and introduce our company and services with passion and confidence. A full driving licence is preferred as the role will involve travel around the local area.
