Sous chef and general assistant for one rosette country house hotel (Loch Ear)

This vacancy will suit a Chef de Partie looking for his or her first position as a Sous Chef. Working closely with our young Head Chef you will deputise for him on his days off. The job will cover all aspects of the kitchen prep lunch and dinner service working five days every seven in various shift patterns. You need to be able to work on your own under pressure as well as with other kitchen staff consistently delivering good quality food. You will also have at least a level one food hygiene certificate. You must also speak and understand English fluently and be an Eu citizen with the right to work in the United Kingdom or have a valid work visa for the United Kingdom. As we are in a rural village this is a live in job. Salary will depend on experience but will include holiday pay and a share of tips. We provide free accommodation and free staff meals when working. Wireless broadband access is also included free of charge. We are also looking for a housekeeper general assistant so are interested in applications from couples.
